However, if you hop behind the wheel of the Toyota RAV4, you may notice a huge difference in performance. This SUV only has one engine option, and it falls short with just 203 horsepower and 184 lb-ft of torque.
What’s a proper family SUV without space for the whole family? With the 2022 Ford Edge and 2021 Toyota RAV4, everyone can come along for the ride with seating for five. However, your kids will probably prefer the 113.9 cubic feet of passenger space in the Edge over the only 98.9 cubic feet of room in the RAV4.

You won’t have as many seating options to choose from in the RAV4, though, with an 8-way power driver’s seat.
Not only is the 2022 Ford Edge more spacious when it comes to passenger room, it also has a larger cargo area to offer you. Store your groceries and kids’ science projects with ease in 39.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seat. It may be a tighter fit in the RAV4, though, with only 37.6 cubic feet.
The Toyota RAV4 does have a configurable interior to make more space for larger items. Fold the rear seat flat and you’ll enjoy 69.8 cubic feet of cargo room. While this is enough space for some large purchases at the flea market, the Edge goes to the next level with 73.4 cubic feet of room when the rear seat is folded down.
